He then cuts off Killian’s hand before vanishing. Furious, Rumplestiltskin rips out Milah’s heart and crushes it, killing her. However, when Rumplestiltskin angrily starts questioning her, asking her how she could abandon her own son, Milah bitterly replies that she wanted to escape her miserable life, and that she never loved Rumplestiltskin. Milah offers Rumplestiltskin a magic bean in exchange for Killian and Milah’s lives. Rumplestiltskin finds out that Killian and Milah are in love, and Milah went with him willingly, hoping to escape being the wife of a coward and explore. Rumplestiltskin plans on ripping out Killian’s heart, until he is confronted by Milah, who has become a pirate. He challenges Jones to a sword-fight, and uses his dark magic to win. Years later, after Rumplestiltskin becomes the Dark One, he sees Killian and his crew at a tavern and confronts him once again. After Jones apparently takes a woman named Milah, her husband Rumplestiltskin confronts him but is too cowardly to do anything about it. Once a respectable member of the King’s Navy, Killian Jones eventually turned to piracy after finding out that his king was corrupt, and became pirate captain of the Jolly Roger. Finally he is a very intelligent being and an extraordinary manipulator, even without his powers, because he was able to set up an effective plan to seize the Dark One dagger, manipulate events during centuries to be able to find his son and escape the presence of Emma Swan then in the form of Dark One. He was able to beat Prince Charming and Killian Jones, two competent swordsmen. Rumplestiltskin is also a highly skilled swordsman although helped by his magic.

RumpelstiltskinĪs an immortal, Rumple gains multiple aspects and aliases as the series progresses, most notably: Dark One Mr. This pushes Regina to the point where she then casts the Dark Curse, that engulfs most of the Enchanted Forest, sending everyone to a town called Storybrooke. Regina believes that she has won, until Snow’s true love Prince David breaks the sleeping curse with true love’s kiss. Regina eventually manages to obtain an apple with a sleeping curse embedded in it, and gets Snow to take a bite out of it, causing Snow to fall into a sleep-like death. Regina accepts the title of Evil Queen, and continues hunting down Snow White with the intent of avenging Daniel. Snow becomes a bandit on the run and Regina is labelled as the Evil Queen all across the Enchanted Forest. She arranges Leopold’s demise, then she attempts to have Snow assassinated. Regina learns dark magic from Rumplestiltskin, and eventually embraces her dark side. Ironically, Regina – who discovers that she enjoys using magic – becomes just like Cora. However, Regina says that she doesn’t want to become like Cora, and pushes her mother through the looking-glass, sending her to Wonderland.
The next day, Regina’s wedding day, Cora visits Regina before the wedding and advises her to be the dominant ruler in the marriage and show the people where the power lies.
Cora tells Regina that love is weakness, and that all she needs is power.įearing that she will become like Cora and seek revenge against Snow, Regina summons Cora’s old mentor Rumplestiltskin, who gives Regina a magic looking-glass. Regina and Daniel plan on running away together, but when Snow sees them together, she eventually tells Cora who confronts them both and rips Daniel’s heart out before killing him. In return, King Leopold proposes to Regina, and she finds herself in a forced marriage when Cora accepts for her.
One day, Regina saves a young girl on a runaway horse, only to discover that the girl is the king’s daughter, Snow White. However, Regina has her own visions of the near future and is secretly in a relationship with the stable boy, Daniel. Once a happy carefree girl with a passion for horses – which was encouraged by her father Henry – Regina was constantly put down and punished by her mother Cora, who wanted Regina to marry someone with wealth and power, something Cora never maintained.
